The Mabo Legacy
Trust Built Through Generations. Impact Delivered Today.
The Mabo legacy is built on courage, advocacy and an unwavering belief in the rights of First Nations peoples.

Today, Kaleb Mabo carries that legacy forward through leadership, community engagement and cultural advocacy across Australia. A proud Meriam and Dhungutti man, Kaleb has built a career connecting communities, organisations and institutions through trust, respect and meaningful dialogue.

Through Baizamle, Kaleb draws on experience in Indigenous affairs, community engagement, national keynote speaking and cultural advisory work to help organisations build authentic relationships and achieve meaningful outcomes alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

His work includes annual keynote presentations at the AIATSIS Summit, leadership of the Dr Koiki Mabo Project, and collaboration with the Mabo Centre at the University of Melbourne, supporting narrative development, public engagement and Torres Strait Islander community connection.
